The Truth About Detox Foot Pads
For a while it seemed like Kinoki Detox Foot
Pads were the only things being advertised on
television. The BBB was reported to have
given the Kinoki people a warning that their
advertised claims for the Detox Foot Pad were
fradulent. As a result, you may be able to buy
Detox Foot Pads under the Kinoki name on
eBay, but the brand has all but disappeared
from brick and mortar and online retail sites.
That doesn't mean that Detox Foot Pads have disappeared - quite the contrary. Detox Foot
Pads are still being aggressively sold in stores and online under a variety of different names -
many of them with organic-sounding names and descriptions: BodyPure Detox Foot Pads;
Green Sap Detox Foot Pads; Dr. Groups Detox Foot Pads, etc.
Do Detox Foot Pads Work?

In a word: no. We've all seen the advertisements on television: A woman puts some
snowy-white adhesive-backed pads on the soles of her bare feet before bed, wakes up and
peels them off and the pads are sooty-black. The claims are that overnight the pads' magic
ingredients literally wicked all the toxins, including heavy metals, out of the body through the
soles of the user's feet.
The body's skin functions and lymphatic system simply don't work that way. Real body
detoxification is a predominantly a function of the liver, which alters the chemical make-up of
many toxins, allowing them (the toxins) to be filtered out of the body through the kidneys,
transferred from the bloodstream to our urinary tract.
Why Are Detox Foot Pads So Dirty When Removed?

One of the main ingredients of almost all Detox Foot Pads is wood
vinegar. The solution loosens dead skin and dirt on the soles of your
feet and the adhesive pulls this gunky solution off much like a
medicated acne pad will loosen and pull off hidden dirt on your face.
Additionally, the combination of ingredients (vinegar, tourmaline,
ground mushroom, amethyst) present in most Detox Foot Pads will
oxidize overnight, exhibiting a darker color when peeled off.
Detox Foot Pads - Too Good To Be True?
Detox Foot Pads go on your
soles clean and come off in
the morning filthy-black.
What really causes this?
The Hidden Health Risk in Many Detox Foot Pads

Many Detox Foot Pad brands use ground crab shell and oyster shell as a filler for the pad
pouches. Although there is no abundance of published evidence detailing users with shellfish
allergies experiencing severe allergic reactions from Detox Foot Pad use, the danger is
very
real
and, given the product's ineffective properties, simply not worth the risk. (Remember,
although the skin on the soles of your feet is incapable of releasing toxins and heavy metals
onto these pads, it is
very capable of absorbing substances, just like the skin can absorb the
contents of nicotine and birth control patches into the bloodstream!)
If you're still in doubt about the wisdom of using Detox Foot Pads, consult with your physician
before taking the chance!
Cilantro Pesto:
Recipe for Removal of Heavy Metals from the Body!

Mercury, aluminum and other toxic heavy metals find their way into
the human body through a number of ways. (Coal-powered energy
plant emissions, mining wastewater, etc.) Cilantro (also called
Chinese Parsley) is credited by medical experts with the ability to
chelate (a medical term from the Greek verb meaning "to claw")
toxic metals from the body quickly and efficiently. Two daily
teaspoons of cilantro pesto for three weeks is thought to be
enough to increase urinary excretion of heavy metals from our
system.
Cilantro (chinese parsley) is
an herb recognized by health
experts to have properties
which will chelate toxic
minerals (including mercury)
from the body!
